Repairing my Rolex Day-Date leather Strap using glue?
I have a Rolex day-date 18038 on a Rolex leather strap
however my problem is the leather strap, which are well known for failing, since its a original Rolex leather strap its costly to replace owing to rolex buckle and nobody does small repairs on a strap like that which I don't want to fork out another strap for minor issues like that so the issue is the movable loop fell off as the glue holding it in place was weak or just couldn't withstand force but I Have it so was thinking of glueing the ends together so it can be put back on in the original glue area end of the strap the thread sewing has come loose which needs to be put in place as it hangs off and sometimes can get stuck to buckle when taking off so loosening it more so do you guy recommend I use superglue for this? will post pictures |

you might want to try take the strap to a shoemaker/repair, they have tools to sew or glue leather shoes which can be used to mend leather straps.

We are an AD and we haven't found anything that worked well. Definitely not super glue. You might try a shoe repair, but with the keeper missing, time for a new band.
