I'm sure there will be TRF members who will know exactly...but just my understanding based on what I've read and can see visually between the two watches |

Great piece. The matte dial against the gradient gloss bezel contrast really makes the dot plots pop. Yes, symmetry is perfect for my 6.75 inch wrist as well :-)

Great review and totally agree
Had mine since June 2016 and it is now by far my most worn watch. |

While I was in the Chicago boutique trying them both on, it appeared to me that the extra thickness in the SD4K vs SubC just was just due to the raised case back, and FWIW, the salesperson confirmed that. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

North of +3 is ok.... depends on how much... i'd tolerate as much as +5 before my OCD kicked in :-) With respect to the SD4K bezel it is unidirectional. |

Another example of the AD not knowing their product. The whole watch, not just the case back, is thicker than the SubC. OP- love the pics. Such a great watch.

Great shots in this thread. This is my favorite watch along with my Exp II 216570.
Mine SD4000 has some slight modifications: and I had to take the perfect three-handed watch and make it mine.... Great thread and great review. -Sheldon

Ok so I just sold my 16600 and am considering the 116600....anyone here done this? If so, is the case on the new SD similar to the old? Or in ohter words, should I anticipate that same boxy feel like on the new Subs? It looks to be somewhat tapered but wanted others opinions before I pull the trigger

Thanks to all! The SD4K is amazing watch! Surprisingly, even though its a deep diver watch, i haven't even gotten it wet yet! I do train for triathlons so i guess i could swim with it (and no harm will come to the SD4K) but I typically use my Garmin triathlon trainer for that |

I recently sold mine as I bought a Daytona C. Seeing this thread has made me want to get it back! Damn! Feeling a little bit of regret here.
