What do you guys think?

I am really considering going after the white gold GMT pepsi, but in order to do so I would have to make some sacrifices. Normally I'm against giving up multiple pieces for one, but in this case they are just not getting worn that often. I purchased the hulk in Aug and Deepsea blue in Nov so those would be the two I give up plus some cash. What do you guys think?

I would personally rather have the D-Blue and LVC instead of a BLRO, but I wouldn't criticize the move to do so. The BLRO is a fine watch, one that I would love to own one day.

I just sold/trade my DD40 for 2 SS watches. So these days, I'm very much in the camp to have more options.

I'd say keep the two you have, however regarding the thoughts of a platinum coke, I just can't see it simply because the Pepsi was always the "IT" GMT. Would Rolex now position below the Coke? I doubt it. All of that said..... if you love the BLRO, get it. After all, we are just a bunch of clowns on the internet.

I would rather have the D-Blue and LVC instead of the BLRO.

Don't get me wrong, the BLRO is an amazing reference but so are the two you currently have.

If you think you'd get more use out a BLRO than you are currently getting with your D-Blue and LVC it would be a great option for you.

Keep what you have. Why not add a 116710LN to the collection, you can pick up a mint one for around $6500

Do you have any other PM watches? Gold just feels wonderful. The weight. I would probably say yes.

Thanks for all feedback. I never really understood the appeal of WG until I tried it on and now it just seems to be really appealing. If anyone is looking for two month old deep blue or a four month old hulk feel free to PM me as I would love for them to go to a fellow forum member!

I wouldn't give up both the LV-c and a D-Blue...keep one of them. And this is coming from one of the biggest BLRO fans on the forum.

If you can't swing it financially, keep saving up until you can. The resulting pair will be worth the sacrifice and the wait.

While I would prefer the BLRO, I doubt I personally would give up those two to get it. You've got a hard choice to make my friend.

Do it, it's a great idea. The feel of gold can't be matched and BLRO's look is in keeping with it's heritage, not a novelty offshoot. You've already said your LVC and Deepsea blue aren't worn much, so go for it.

Why don't you wear them? If it's because they're the wrong style, maybe your answer is yes. If it's because you're not wanting to "expose your Rolex's to the wear and tear of daily use, maybe the answer is no... Tough choice. Good luck!

Do you have other watches? What are you wearing that you are not wearing those 2?

Always good to have at least 1 Sub in the arsenal...

I'm in the camp of moving two SS pieces for PM. Those are some pretty darn good SS watches though, so make sure you maximize your return!

Great collection Based on that collection I would probably do the deal and add some PM. You have the SS sport watch segment pretty well covered.

I have debated this a lot the last few weeks. Consolidating to a 116618LB, a 114060 and one other undetermined. Going to try and hold out until Basel though.

I wouldn't do it as the LVC and DSSD Blue are two of the best Rolex and prefer them along with your BLNR over BLRO. You've got the perfect SS collection and I'd keep it that way.

I probably would not, but if you have fallen out of love than why not try to fall back in with the BLRO.

I think you would be crazy to get rid of the d blue. Such a special watch from a future collectors point of view.

Obviously it's your choice but if I had a d blue it wouldn't be going anywhere.......Especially seeing as you've only had it a few months

If the DS was discontinued after Basel '17 would this make you reconsider?
What if a PM GMT Coke is released at the same time? The Coke variant was always the better looking option IMHO.

Nice collection!, but it seems you've got gold fever. I think everyone would like a PM Rolex in their collection as they are magical on the wrist. One just needs to rationalize if it's worth 3 or more SS references. I've been where you are and decided I'd rather have a larger collection with variety. Good luck in your decision as none of this is really rational. Cheers!
