Update

Heeeeee's back! Finally, once again I'm in awe at the support here. From the bottom of my heart I thank you all. Max will be on a special food for the rest of his days and I have to give him medication for the next 30 days, vet said that I could mix that with a little tuna so that shouldn't be a problem.
My only downside this afternoon was that he pee'd all over inside his carrier on the way home and laid in it. Our house has smelled better. He's been letting me every half hour or so give him about a 15 second rub with baby wipes. I have potpourri all over, candles lit, steam cleaned the hall carpet and kitchen floor. I've laid towels down for him to lay on but.... he's laying everywhere but on them... oh well, that will dissipate... I hope.
Thanks again guys!

Wow, I just realized... 5 pages of support for my sick cat, you people are just amazing.

True, embarrassingly true! But we shouldn't make fun of Jocke...

Great news Tim!! You must be very happy!! Max should recoup a little quicker now that he's in familiar digs!

This guy came home from the vet once all doped up from a procedure... He went business in his box, then fell asleep in the box on top of it...

He's all good now. It's a tough life...
