Woman says she found a rare $250,000 Rolex

This is by far the craziest story i have ever heard revolving the watch world and I have seen lots of stories... https://www.businessinsider.com/rare...n-couch-2019-9 nothing compares. I found this while diving into the vintages so any vintage fans, you have got to hear this. None other than the "Paul Newman" Rolex Daytona a woman said she had found this in the creases of her couch, which is kind of unbelievable but still crazy if true. Paul Newmans Daytona are a whole other world of expensive and it took a little research for this woman to realize what she had actually found. It is a cool story and I definitley reccommend giving it a read, crazy! What is the weirdest/craziest watch story you have ever heard?

Yeah, two entire years ago, when dinosaurs roamed the earth. So craaaazzzy.

I for one hadn’t seen the story, so I couldn’t care less when it happened. Still interesting.

The woman must have sent pics, and even then, Bob’s took a gamble on flying someone down to retrieve what could have been a Vietnam special.

Something like 20 years ago I was at my brother in laws house and he was wearing a Cellini. He never wore a watch; he never spent more than $50 on a pair of shoes. I was shocked and asked him where and when did he buy it.

He said he found it in a rental car. You see, he was a mechanic for a major rental car chain.

In the ‘90s when I was a stoner street photographer, I was sure I’d lost my Leica M6. I was devastated.

I found it about 6 months later stuck under a couch cushion.

Of all the things to find in an old sofa from a thrift store:

Loose pocket change? No
Paper/plastic candy/gum rappers? No
Dried up french fries or other food? No
Used cigarette butts? No

Uber rare vintage Rolex Paul Newman Daytona? Ding Ding Ding Ding; sure right where it should be…
