Cheers Brian !

I still cant understand why people are thinking im crazy having a 312 & 321 as a pair ! i see the 321 the more dressier Pam and i see the 312 as the more beach & boat watch :)

Anyway..... im enjoying both !

Daz,

The only opinion that matters with watches is your own! And one thing I have learned is that PAM owners definitely have differing opinions about their PAM's, but hey...that is why PANERAI isn't making only one model of watch ;-)

You have the added pleasure of having 2, so wear when you want and where you want is what i think. To my eye, the 321 and 312 are different watches and with similarities, including the their model #, but what i love to hear is that you are wearing your 312 as it is meant to be worn "Beach and Boat."

Wear in good health and keep sharing the pics. I am glad we can get a 321 following here on TRF

Is the case brushed steel? I'm deliberating between the 312, the 321 and the 359 myself. I'm in a similar boat as the OP. I bought a different PAM a month ago and find myself being pulled into a different direction as well!

The 321's case is brushed, except for the polished ring around the crystal.

I find that when wearing the Pam with a dress shirt or sport shirt, I do have I use the 2nd button to give as much room as possible to cover the watch. It is a thick case.

No problems with my French cuffed shirts.

PAM321 or Rolex Sub C or GMT IIc?? That's my current debate.. Love the look of the Panerai, but not sure the watch will look good on my 7 inch wrist being a 44mm case.

7 inches can hold a 47 easily. You shouldn't have any problems with a 44.

I too just got a new Pam 321 and joined the club. Just waiting on a new ammo strap from dangerous 9 to complete the look that I really want.
