Friday for me as well. Love the VIP theaters in Bangkok; limited seating, large leather recliner with a blanket and a pillow. Perfect for a great movie.

I hope this one is better than The Force Awakens.

Rogue One !!!!!!

Saturday night. Dinner and a movie.
Even in our little rural town had to pre order tickets for the "dinner" theater with the nice seats. Could only get the late show as the rest were sold out.

It is getting pretty solid reviews. Grittier tone and more adult. Looking forward to it

I like A New Hope, I didn't like The Force Awakens which was pretty much a remake. Come on, of all possible story lines possible in a galaxy far away they went with another Death star.

Which reminds me of the plot of Rogue One when I think about it

I watched Force Awakens the other day again and it was a fun ride, I didn't fast forward once. I think the Kylo Ren actor has to get a bit stronger but the new Keira Knightley and John Boy do well with Kasdan's script even if plot is so similar to New Hope. Mark Hamill looks the business at the end, very Alec Guinness.

I assume this is another Star Wars movie? I liked the original 3, but have not been able to make it through any of the subsequent releases. Maybe I just need a free day without the wife lol.

Will keep this spoiler free

The finale is one of the best in the series hands down!! Had me feeling like a kid again just like when my dad took me to see ROTJ when I was a 6 year old!

The cinema went nuts in the last few minutes!

Blows away the Force Awakens hands down due to the final third of the film which is awesome!!!!!

I know people say the Force Awakens is putting Stars Wars back on track however this was another level!!

Ditto. I also read a review saying it is darker and adult themed. Young kids probable shouldn't watch.

Its darker for sure but my kids loved it!

The balance is perfect this time with regards to this kind of thing in my opinion (I found the Force Awakens a bit cheesy with the jokes)

Saw it yesterday... impressed. A great array of characters. Serious fans already know the plot, but they delivered it well with many twists and surprises.

I saw the original film as a youngster on its first day on screening a long time ago in a cinema far far away.

This film is perhaps a little more adult. It's certainly going to cause some problems for parents wanting to bring young children.
