why go back
hey, new to the forum and could use some therapy.
I have owned 7 rolex watch's and one of those was the Exp I 36mm. I sold that to fund my IWC mk XVI and now after a year wish the hell I kept the darn thing. I have considered the Exp II, but after retiring from the airlines flying the 'whale'...B747, internationally, I started thinking maybe I should have kept the GMT I had early on and, oh well. I want to go back to the Exp I and maybe the larger 39mm, so, am I an idiot or what? I still travel and sometimes think the dual time zone watches may be the way to go....I really need professional help........... |

Loved the old one but found it a bit too small for me - the new one is just great!

For what it's worth, I have two salespeople at ADs in MN and CA tell me, over the past 30 days, that this is their favorite current Rolex (214270) when seeing what I was wearing. It was interesting....don't thing they were BS'ing me, as I was not there to buy another watch...just killing time as the significant other shopped elsewhere.
Doesn't matter, but it is a very respected entry in the current Rolex catalogue, it seems. To each, their own (as always).

Here's mine, strange thing is, that it has an A series which is a 1999 product, that should be 14270 instead of 114270. But it has the solid end link bracelet and no lug holes and supposed to be 114270 that start at 2001 ? thinking:
Anybody has any idea? |

Mine, watch only-with A series, strangely it has a solid end link and no lug holes. Is it 14270 or 114270? AFAIK the 114270 started at 2001 while the A series represent the 1999 production.
