Explorer II On Jubilee Bracelet?
Does anyone know how I could attach an 62510H Jubilee Bracelet to an Explorer II. The Explorer II is a non-lughole SEL version. I've scene examples of this exact watch, and was wondering what end links would fit best to make this work?
Thanks, Aaron |

Explorer II's can use the identical bracelets as the GMT II..
The proper end-links for a non-through lug hole case are 502T,which have the slots in the back for spring-bars...

Thanks Larry! How is your overall fit? Form the pictures, yours looks great.
Also, what type and size spring bars did you end up using on yours? 1.8mm or 2.0mm Most of the Jubilee 62510H bracelet's out there are not for GMT's and they will use 1.8mm versus the GMT bracelet that accepts 2.0mm. Thanks, Aaron |

I prefer the Oyster bracelet on the Explorer II, but that jubilee looks at home on your beautiful watch.

Aaron, as Larry said the 502T's are the correct end piece.....however if you are brave enough you can make 555's look like 502T's (i.e. with the slot to allow spring bar removal) using a Dremmel or something of that nature....but be warned, end pieces are very expensive for what they are.....I got some aftermarket ones (much cheapness) just to see what a Jubilee bracelet from one of my DateJusts would look like on my Explorer II.....it was nice and I still have the end pieces but I have never put a Jubilee back on it for some reason.....glad I spent a few pennies to find out if I just liked or loved the look/feel.....

Looks great guys. I'm going to try this.
Did you guys use collared spring bars that go with the SEL bracelet or 1.8 or 2.0 non-collared bars? |

The actual 40mm case endlinks, either 502B or 502T (T's have slots, others don't) have a larger spring-bar tube and so you can use the 2mm bars. You cannot use the older through-hole lug spring-bars on a non-through hole case.. the end pivots are larger and won't catch in the lug holes. Spring-bars on a Rolex have the collars to make it easy to catch with a spring-bar fork tool............ they are not absolutely necessary. Any 1.8 or 2mm spring-bar with 1mm pivots will fit using the corresponding end-link.

I think the jubilee looks great on the Exp II. Either way would work for me.. It's always nice to have options.

These pictures look great. I'm waiting on my AD to let me know if they can order me 502T end links from Rolex. They seem hard to find. I'll update the post with pictures after I get all the pieces in.
Thanks |

Be prepared to pay a few $'s for them....not sure how much now but when I checked they were ridiculously expensive.....like 25% of the cost of a bracelet or something mad like that
