Which WG daytona you folks like better.

Which WG daytona you folks like better. Which one should I get.

Panda or the Red Handle. The red handle does it for me. But the Panda is so Iconic.

Sorry about bad pics but you know which ones I am talking about.

Spider for me.... better visibility, the red hand is too pale, but have to admit Panda dial has its own allure

Of these two, the Panda is the nicer dial. If you want an arab dial then be sure to also check out slate arab.

The nicest dial for a WG Daytona IMO is the black with diamonds.

I love both but I have to admit that the subdials legibility of the panda dial seems awful. At first I wasn't even able to spot the small hands...

Panda! The all blacked out sub dials give a great contrast.

I don't think there is a wrong answer here. Haha.

All of the WG Daytonas are beautiful!

Of the two though I kinda like the white non Panda one. Love the Panda too. Geez, I don't know. Get them all.

Panda but only as a distant second to the platona, my favorite Daytona by far.

The OP is asking about two choices. Not what your favorite one is.

Love the panda dial, tho disappointed in the visibility of the blacks hands. Are the red hands a Rolex authorized option?

It's in the current catalogue on the 116519, 3 red sub dials but silver large second hand

I'd keep the funds of the WG Daytona, save up a "bit" more, and go for the Platona. However, if it has to be WG, then I'd pick the slate arab dial:

I'm interested in this thread as well. I went from a WG Daytona with a strap to a WG Silver dial. I have been going back and forth if I should change to the panda or not. I find the silver dial with silver hands a bit hard to read in sunlight. I was thinking maybe the white dial on the panda would be a little better to see. I like the red sub hands, but not if it is not an authorized feature.

Red hands are not that big of a deal...the dial is amazing already.

I respectfully disagree....I have had the panda dial with both the silver hands and now red hands fitted, and the red hands blow it away and make a beautiful dial even better.

I really think both are fantastic. Even the silver dial I currently have. Seems all just personal choices. Just a great watch (in my opinion).
