That was like watching a horror film! Will send this link to any one who askes about cheap/low cost watch service options.

Omg, this guy can't be serious. Exactly why technology can be bad. Some poor fool is watching that video right not getting his grinder out. If this guy had only ever heard of polywatch. I've yet to use polywatch only because I use my mothers buffing compound I use on my paint for difficult scratches and just some toothpaste for minor polish up. Both work wonders on plastic crystals or if you want you can follow the video jk.... Its a shame to see him do that to a decent watch

Love how he wipes it with a dirty paper towel. That is a crack up. I buffed out some plexis yesterday with my dremel. Took like 5 minutes but I missed using the sanding disk part.

That's how that nightmare of a loved one surprising you, "look I got that old watch all cleaned up for you."

The guy can't tell the difference between sapphire and acrylic? So, he just jumps right in with his grinding wheel? All that slop having the opportunity to seep in past an old crystal...that's an early Speedmaster Pro with a raised Omega so it could be late 1950's. Then he starts willy nilly buffing out the bracelet in every direction which way.

certainly not the most confidence inspiring repair guy, but on acrylic crystals sometimes you need to light wet-sand to remove deep scratches before polishing...

I use PolyWatch with a soft cotton cloth for the inevitable fine scratches on my Speedy's Hesalite crystal. Works well. I was cringing the whole time I watched this video. I thought it had to be a prank and kept waiting for the punchline which never came.

Difficult to watch but amusing that theres actually someone doing this on YouTube.

Thanks for the post, I got a chuckle out of it.
