Video Review: Rolex Daytona 116520

Since I had such an outpour of great community feedback for my first review of the Deepsea Sea Dweller 116660 I decided to put together one for the Daytona 116520.

Enjoy and let me know what you'd like to see next!

Superb video, enjoyed it to the fullest :)
Perhaps you could do a GMT Master II review next?

I saw both reviews by the OP. By far the best watch reviews I've seen. Even better then Hodinkee. Great composition, intelligent commentary, factual and in depth content. More please!!!

GMT II BNLR?
Sea-dweller 4000?
Yachtmaster II?
Blancpain Fifty Fathoms and Bathyscaphe?
R.O. AP?
Patek Aquanaut?

Well done! I think you should mention that you are reviewing a older version of the watch. The bracelet clasp changed back in 2008/9 with the V-serial 116520 and onwards so the critique of the clasp isn't really valid for most buyers. Also, your older version has sub-dials that are more gray which has been changed to more silver shiny ones, which changes the impression of the dial (it looks worse IMO).

But regardless, great effort and thanks for sharing!

wonderful reviews man! Keep on doing it. Loved the view of the daytona on your wrist while drinking coffee or reading the paper wish you did that in the DSSD review aswell.
As a daytona and DSSD owner myself you didn't had to convince me it ar fabulous watches...but I still love seeing those reviews. Thanks for taking the time to make them and share them here with us

Fantastic review of a legendary watch! I appreciate the honest nuances and criticisms of the watch from an actual wearer. Beautifully composed video

Really great review! I also enjoyed your comments about what you liked/disliked. You mentioned suggestions for next review--I think that many if us would enjoy a PP 5167a review. That watch seems to be the one that most Rolex fans would delve into and potentially purchase.
