New Releases - PAM656 & 670 Titanium Equation of Time

Panerai just released 2 new Equation of time models with GMT functions. Looks like they also fixed the issue with the date by putting it below the month sub dial. I like the new domed crystal as well.

I like the second one. I love Panerai's 12 hour gmt function and how you can hide it when not needed. But I hate the ecru lume. I don't understand, what's wrong with regular lume. Why fake patina?

I'm loving that blue sunburst dial... But I would have to agree that the ecru lume is getting a bit old at this point...

Do you think the pieces with the gold hands would look as nice with the regular lume? Sometimes I like the ecru lume and other times I'm not a fan at all.

The blue dial looks like the better of the two. I just read about the equation of time function and IMO this is superfluous. If they moved the date window above the 6 instead of this feature the dial will look more balanced and slightly less cluttered. Just my $0.02.

I'm a big fan of the ecru but I can understand why it doesn't blow everyone's skirt up. In the case of the gold hands though, the standard green lume would look plain wrong.

Just my 1.5p/2c

I think that the blue face with WG hands and white lume would look fantastic.. Especially as a Summer watch with the whole blue/white theme. I also think it would match the SS case better.

Come on man, everyone needs to know the true solar time. It's one of the most useful complications available, and a bargain at twice the price!

Panerai has jumped the shark and I was a huge fan. Too many variants.

I'll join in on the fauxtina bashing - I don't like it. Just look at the fiddy and 232. Two modern interpretations of the classics that show you DON'T need ecru lume.
