Louis Moinet geograph, your thoughts?

Been offered this watch for $6000 USD, fitted with a GMT and a chrono function and a beautiful open case back. Anyone else have any experience with the brand or this specific watch?

Beautiful watches, but 45x17 may make it a no-go.
Price is very keen.

It looks too busy imo, what was original msrp ? A brand like this might be almost unsellable if you buy it so buy to keep.

I am getting it preowned with box and papers, the original price is almost double that. Of course there was quite a bit of haggling on my part.

I am flipping some useless stuff to pay for this, so I am not too worried about resale value, besides HK is a pretty good place to be for offloading obscure brands, there will always be a market for it

That's actually part of its appeal.

I saw a few models in a shop in Odessa, they seem very well made but like was said even if you buy it right, you better buy to keep as resale will be hard and very low, better get preowned if possible...
