A few pics of my Daytona on a NATO!

I like it! I find NATO straps to be a fun way to mix things up a bit and it extends the life of my bracelet to boot!

I'm not a huge fan of the Daytona on a NATO, but I'm thrilled you did it just to get a rise out of JJ. :-)

I'm okay with Nato on SUB and GMT because of the dark or colored bezels, but Put that on Daytona seems to be too much of the contrast and takes away the balance between dial and strap. Just my opinion.

This reminds me of a Ferrari meet where a guy took out the chasis on a 308 GTS and added modified chasis and wheels from a Ford F150 for higher clearence.

I like F150 and the 308, just not a hybrid of the two.

My very humble opinion.

But what about the "extending the life of the bracelet" argument?

100% agree with JJ and ersnyder, that is a great looking watch and it looks hideous on a NATO. So watch NATO

Or mix it up a little with a Super Jubilee.
For those that care about these things, the fit is less than perfect since the case diameter is smaller than the arc of the end links.

Looks great, but yes, there will be a slight imperfection because the Super Jubilee SEL curve was designed for a smaller 36 mm DJ or TOG - NOT the 40 mm larger case.

The Jubilee should be an option for the Daytona (with end links with a proper fit, of course). It looks so good on Jubilee. It is currently my number one on the wish list, and I do not understand why the Jubilee is not offered to more models.

Thanks for the pics!

Best,

A
