Not keen on Milgauss, Daytona, DSSD, Skydweller, DJ II, Yachtmaster or green Subs. Least favourite of all is the blue and black GMT.

Love DD and DJ, 36mm Explorer I, Explorer II, Subs and GMT.

Least keen on the enlarged-for-no-functional-reason ones like the DJII/DDII/Exp39, and cognitive-dissonance things like 18K diver's models. The YM II gets dissed a lot but it's cool... if you actually race a sailing yacht.

But the thing with Rolex is that it's limited how bad their watches can be. They don't exactly make junk.

Fair enough! For me, it was the other way around. I wasn't interested until I saw one in person

Those real gaudy DDs with diamonds over the front and sides and bezel.

I wouldn't take one for free if I had to wear it.

There are A LOT of Milgauss votes on here. I think my next watch is going to be a GV... still

I do agree, though, the DSSD is not something ANYONE above the surface of the ocean needs to be wearing.

I didn't go through this whole thread but was there a single person that said "Black submariner"? That would really be something.. kind of like going on a Fender Guitar forum and saying, "you know what, I just don't really like the Stratocaster".

The GV is a love/hate proposition. Put me in the 'love' camp. :)

I recently was at the NYC flagship Rolex store, and just stopped by a local AD yesterday. So I have viewed hundreds of Rolex models in person lately.

There are actually only a few models I would buy. I share Padi's aversion to ceramic bezels, and don't really like PCL's. Pretty much limits me to the Explorer line. But I like some of the Cellini Danos XL models, so what do I know?

My #1 least favorite is the Daytona. There's just way took much going on. No offense intended to you Daytona owners. Thank God we all don't want/like the same thing because it would be a much less interesting world.

If they sell it for 8k usd I'd definitely get one. 12k for a 34mm dial plus total 6mm bezel(3 mm each side).... Hmmm....thinking

None of these watches cost more than 2-3k to make. 38% of MSRP goes to AD and rest to Rolex. That's how they have 4 billion dollar annual PROFIT

Rolex is moving into making contemporary "classic" watches!!
Using interesting colors and color combos.

Right....one of the most iconic chrono and best chrono movements..
I guess you haven't seen the price list for AP steel chrono's, in rubber strap.

AirKing is my least favorite , it looks like a 'stuck in-between going nowhere' design . Following would be datejusts that came in different colored dials and bezel combinations.. ( I meant those really unusual colors type)

On a separate note, I love the Milgauss GV and Sub Kermit !
