hi. its great to have stumbled to this forum.

i would like to ask your help/opinion on my first rolex purchase.

i was narrowing it down to the Datejust 41mm with smooth bezel/116300 in blue azzuro roman (please see pic)



had a chance to try this beauty at my AD and it felt great on my wrist. (prefer the smooth bezel rather than the fluted one since i felt it looked better with the Oyster bracelet, just my own opinion )





another piece i am considering is the new submariner no date Ceramic / 114060 but had no chance to view it yet in the flesh since its quite hard to come by in my AD.

this will be my first rolex watch (the only watch i have is a JLC grande reverso 976 [i have quite big wrists so it does not look :grande on me, but it wears just right])

will the datejust only look good with a suit (was wearing office clothes when i tried it on) or will it go well even on casual wear?

or will the rolex submariner no date be a better choice as an all rounder so to speak? not considering the Subdate and GMT because i plan to stick with a certain budget. planning to get a DJ-31mm for my wife as well.
