Contemporary Tudor Serials

Just joined the forum - frstly what a wonderful place - stakes of knowledge and lots of humor - great to read and now join in.

I see that we have a comprehensive list of serials for pre-millennium but not much for present day. I'm keen to understand what's been going on in the last 10 years or so. I see mention of H, J and O but what next?

Any help would be most grateful.

Many thanks

Iain

I too am curious about how the last decade or so is represented with Tudor serial numbers. I have been stumped trying to find an explanation for the current schema but suspect that it may be something similar to the randomization that Rolex is doing. I'll echo Iain's question and also add the SNs I have to the db. Someday I'll be able to add photos...

I just bought a brand new Tudor Prince Date+Day from an AD In Hong Kong, all modern boxes/cards, etc. I understand that there’s no accurate way to date a Tudor beyond 2002 because of their use of random serial numbers, but I just want to share my serial number:

I1834**

It was purchased brand new in March 2021. Who knows how long this watch has been sitting around before I bought it, and I wonder if Tudor had stopped producing this watch a while ago but are still officially selling (in Hong Kong) the leftover inventory of these beautiful gems.

Anyone buying Tudors and wanting to know correct serial numbers and some rinky dinks around the numbering, this thread is very good, worth bookmarking....OP Bagel did some good basic sleuth work. I just used it to check something and it was correct/v useful.

For 7021/0, there should be a year stamp inside the case back.

According to samples of my archive, for 7021/0 with s/n of 73x,xxx, its case back normally stamped with 68.
