I believe the engraved rehaute began on gold models first. My WG Daytona, purchased 12/05 is a D Series and has it. I think that some F series WG Daytona's have it too.

All WG Daytona on Oyster bracelet have RRR rehaut. This particular model was introduced at Basel 2004.

This is one of the 1st Rolex to have this rehaut, with TOG (which isn't a "gold" model) and DateJust PM on leather strap.

Ah, ok. I read somewhere that it was transitional.

I can't believe how badly off centre the crown is in the Rehaut of this YG submariner. And I thought mine was bad. Shame on you Rolex! On page 1 :(

Look at it in relation to the minute marker underneath it though.

I see nothing wrong. Everything I'd expect to see at that angle.

I really thought this was cool when I first was looking at Rolexes; now it is of questionable value to me as even counterfeits can have it. I agree that it is busy on the watches and they look cleaner without it.

Larry, is that your 16618?

The dial is just wet-black...

Well, just for information, I've just got the watch serviced, and crystal changed, from the Rolex office in Spain and it has not any crown engraved in the glass.
