If I ever have the good fortune of buying a $500K+ RM, it will be the KONGO/graffiti version. This is a close second. Fantastic piece. Should probably get a McLaren first

How many Mclaren cars could you buy?

Not surprised they have done a Mclaren watch following their new sponsorship deal.

A truly remarkable stunning watch for sure!

...to my mind the 116506 Daytona blows it away while the RM looks like a plastic mall watch.

Which is why this is not posted in a Rolex section. If everyone had the same taste in life the world would be pretty boring.

Very cool looking watch...wonder if Jenson Button will get one of these along with a P1 on his way out the door?

Let me see if I can get this straight, are you saying that I can only post my opinion of a non-Rolex watch in the Rolex section?

Seventy five pieces, I wonder if they're all made at once and sold right away or is production done over time, like maybe three years. I realize there are buyers out there but 75 guys spending close to a million on a watch and there are other million dollar watch choices also.

The tourbillon Rafael Nada RM 27-01 weighs 19 grams with the strap. That one is truly impressive and feels incredible on the wrist.

Actually it weights 28 grams with the strap which is not less impressive :)

050-03 is technology marvel, but esthetically not my cup of tea...

Sorry, not to be rude but I'm sticking with my 19 grams claim:

You implied that the people who like this watch are tasteless morons. Then you said the platinum daytona is much better than the RM. That's fine, however, nobody said anything bad about Daytonas. This sub-forum is to appreciate other watch manufactures without being made to feel like an idiot.

I tried this one on when Arjan was in Dubai. Not the same watch, but the absence of weight in these cases s amazing. If I had the cash, I would not have left the boutique without it. A truly impressive accomplishment in horology IMO.

Dollars to doughnuts you haven't tried any RM on before.

Cool watch but not in love with the mclaren branding.
