When is 3 strikes actually a home run?

When you get to know John aka springer and buy another gorgeous vintage Rolex from him - my third from John. In this case a beautiful 16750 that's gonna sing to me for a long, long time. Thanks, John, for another perfect transaction and for always being generous with your time. This thread nails it - john aka springer is a great guy and real asset to this community.

Tom, I'm so glad you like the 16750...it definitely found a good home from someone that truly appreciates a fine vintage Rolex. Enjoy it for many years to come and, again, thanks for your confidence and kind words.

I just received my 1968 Rolex 1675 from John with the most gorgeous pepsi insert and t38 tropic dome. I have been looking for this configuration intact from an original piece for quite some time, and I simply could not be happier. Thanks again John, I look forward to many more deals in the future!

Dorukan, thanks for the confidence and it was a real pleasure dealing with you. It is never easy selling a watch overseas, but I'm glad this worked out for you.

Enjoy your 1979 GMT for many years to come.

I just completed an amazing deal with John. John only accepts bank transfer which made me a bit nervous since I prefer to pay with Paypal, but once I spoke to him, I felt totally comfortable. John is a man of his word and completely trustworthy. I am looking forward to many more deals with John in the future.

Thanks, John!!!

John (aka Springer)

Thrilled that I connected with John. The quality of the watch he sold me was well above what he promised. His knowledge about GMT's is beyond reproach. I'll be dealing with him in the future. Highly recommended dealer.

Rolex 1675 GMT

I had the pleasure of dealing with John while purchasing my 77 GMT. He's a man of his words, the watch exceeded my expectations. I would recommend him to anyone who is interested in vintage GMTs.....after all he's "Mr. GMT"! I will most definitely do more business with him in the future.

I wanted to add to this thread as well, and post my compliments and appreciation for a great transaction with John (springer). John is not only a knowledgeable and regular contributor to our Forum, but also a great guy and a great seller, with a bonus supply of enthusiasm for just about anything mechanical.

All went smoothly in our transaction, and, being that we're not that far from each other, we met for a local exchange. The 1675 I purchased appeared every bit as described, and in fact, even better in person than photographed. Thanks John!

I also posted a separate thread for John here:
http://www.rolexforums.com/showthrea...03#post5622503

...but wanted to add my feedback to this thread, in order to get my comments to what looks like a centralized location. Thanks again, John.

Picked up some accessories for my 16760 from John a few weeks ago, booklet, hang tags. Great guy to talk to, great items and as many have said, a great asset to the community and a trusted seller. Thanks again!

One year after our first transaction, I was thrilled to see that John had a period correct bezel insert for my 16750. The exact item I wanted, from a man for whom I have the highest regard. Perfect transaction as always. Thanks again, John.

Rolex 1675

I recently purchased a 1972 Rolex GMT 1675 from John. He was courteous and responsive throughout the process. The watch was as described and actually exceeded my expectation. It is a very beautiful watch and I intend to purchase another one in the very near future.

I recommend John without any hesitation to everyone who is looking to get a genuine watch. He is a man of quality and honors his words. Thank you.
