My Doggie had to get stiches!
Last Sunday morning we had a FREAK thunder & lightning storm here in San Diego, CA. Our dogs have never heard thunder like that before. Our Jack Russell Terrier (Luna) went CrAzY when (Bella) our Boston Terrier Beagle and her were on the bed. As Bella was jumping off the bed Luna broke the skin on Bella's thigh and ripped a 3 inch tear down to the muscle. All morning in an Animal Emergency Room and $900 later we got her back at 8 PM. She is resting now on antibiotics, pain killer and semi lock down as she heals. What a BUMMER! I hate to see animals in pain especially mine...

I'm sorry to hear about that. Thunder really freaks dogs out. I'm sure your dog did not mean to bite your other dog. I'm hoping that your dog makes a quick recovery!

I, too, hate to see animals in pain. I hope Bella recovers soon and to her 110%.

NO! So sorry.
You really had to put the saddest picture of the poor thing. It's almost as bad as the ASPCA commercials. Hope for a speedy recovery! |

Hope she gets better soon. Remember, nothing helps heal like bacon.
Sorry, my dog made me write that.

Look at it this way; her first scratch gives her character.
Seriously, glad she's on the mend and sounds like she'll be back up to speed soon. Many doggies don't do well with thunderstorms or the 4th of July. Great pic. she's just a bundle of cute.
