Pam Back from Service at Last
I bot a Pam 233 with one month left on the extended Tourneau warranty. Upon receipt I noticed it needed service as the seconds reset was not going to zero and the GMT hand was out of alignment so sent it to Tourneau LIC in NY. I had reservations as I had not read anything favorable about Tourneau service. After about a week they said it had to go to Panerai for service. Four months later she is back after receiving an overhaul. Kudos to Tourneau for honoring the warranty with me being the 2nd owner. They were also very nice to deal with. It took a long time but that was at Panerai's end. Quick (crappy) iphone pic.

Glad it worked out for you Your thread is probably better suited under the open discussion area with the title about your experiences with Tourneau

Were you happy with over all service?
Did they polish out scratches, dings, replace crownguard??? I have not heard much about PAMs post service. Is the service comparable to what Rolex does? |

I just got my 328 back from service. I bought it new Jan 2010 and one day it just stopped working. I took it back to the AD and was without the watch exactly 3 weeks from the day I dropped it off. I asked the AD what they did and the letter the service center sent back stated that they completed the required service. They did say if you pay for service they would note what they did. It would have been nice to see what they did but it's working and I'm happy to have it back. They do include a nice case they ship it back in and I can see using it as a travel case.
