The rolex explorer 1 is a 36mm case, i suppose thats a females watch too ?
Dont think so somehow. To my mind a female size isnt any midsize rolex but a 22mm to 28mm case. I happen to think unless youve got arms like a gorillia a 46mm bezel is way over the top and looks pretty vulgar anyway, but that starts a conversation about good taste, sadly some of the rolex models of the past 25 years do really push it on that front somewhat. |

Looking good Mike!!! Maybe you should get rid of all your APs and wear that one as your daily beater. Hahaha.

You mean a 34mm! The Datejust is 36mm but the Date is smaller. More like a ladies watch.

The Leopard Daytona is 40mm, is it not? Only its adornments make it unisex.
I would not wear a ladies watch just to exhibit anti-establishmentism. I'm of the opinion that they (Rolex) should discontinue making "ladies" watches completely, and they should all be unisex, with the minimum size being 34mm (1.33 inches) and a maximum size of 47mm (1.85 inches.) Plenty of range there for the many different human body sizes. On a side note, Steven Tyler is a relatively small-framed man, standing only 5' 9" tall and very thin. He could easily wear a 34mm.

I'm all for unisex Rolex watches but then I want them to range from really really small to the super size such as 20mm (I have one and love it from 1929 a 14k rose gold Oyster) and as large as say 50mm.
Just imagine this. . . . Someday you can go to a Rolex AD and order your size, bezel, dial, strap, style, and create your own custom Rolex, just like when you go to the TCBY and create your own yogurt sundae ! ! ! Create-a-Rolex Or, how about instead of Subway where you pick your own toppings they have a new Rolex - SUB YOUR WAY ! ! ! Pick a basic Sub and add whatever variations you want to it. I wonder if someone from Rolex headquarters reads these threads. If you are reading this, do a BUILD A ROLEX - like Build a Bear - Pick, pick, pick and create : - ) |

Personally, even with my smaller wrists I wouldn't try to pull off wearing a watch under 40mm.

To be honest many think that DJ 36mm is ladies watch now especially gold and gold-steel. Women started wearing bigger sized watches than before. It's the new fashion

My father in law is a very well dressed 5 foot 4 chinese man and he wears yg diamond president that has to be 35 ml or less. It looks good on him. He can also pull off a designer hand bag. I wouldn't dream of attempting either - I'm a pudgy straight white guy. Net is there aren't really universal rules just one that we apply more locally.

You've never heard of Aerosmith? Besides, US rock is 90% British rock anyway. :)

I always thought the Daytona was a man's watch!
He's a rock star he can wear whatever he wants. I wouldn't get caught looking like him though.

What i mean is, that watch actually looks good on Him, wouldn't look good on me, but it suits his style, as he carries his style all the way.

Steve Tyler is one of the few people on this planet that can get away wearing the leopard daytona. I do remember a salesman at Tourneau in NYC saying that Michael Jordan bought one there. The other MJ Michael Jackson could get away wearing that too! Rest his soul.
