A friend is offering me a white gold Daytona with serial number K450xxx for £8,000. According to the serial number this watch was made in 2001. However another friend tells me that in 2001 there were no white gold Daytona on the market.

I am confused......... can someone please tell me if this is white gold or steel? and when the white gold came out (which movement? - Zenith? or Rolex?)
