Yeap I been here a few years and so far the closest thing to NS I have seen is Toronto. So that explains the excited part we even share the same city. I have only seen about 3 rolex watches on peoples wrists in this province besides my own :

I noticed last time I was in that they are now carrying the Tudor line. Maybe in 2012 as I'm done this year and the wife would shoot me if I bought another watch. If everything goes well I'll have a new Sub C next week. |

I'm a new member and I live in Bedford. I bought a Sub a long time ago from our Spring Garden Rd AD but I will buy on the sales forum next time. New prices are too much.

There are lots of Rolex's in Halifax. I see them all the time, mostly GMT's and Sub's.

Hi Kevin....Wecome to TRF !
I live in Rockingham.... I figured there had to be lots of Rolex's out there or our AD would have stopped selling them. I don't blame you for buying from dealer here on TRF,they have great reputations and the prices are much better compared to around here. I am in the process of purchasing a Sub C from an AD in Vancouver with the help of another TRF member from there. There are some really nice people on the forum that don't mind helping you get a deal from their local AD if they can and the savings can be significant. I think the problem around here is that there is no competition and they can charge what they want. Anyway, nice chatting with another local guy....Peter will be really happy there's more of us Rolex lovers in NS !! |

Agreed Dave. I have been to our local AD a few times looking and discounts don't come easy there. Good luck with your Sub

Another Canadian
I am in Halifax as well. Post mostly on TZ, but lurk here. Have had some good deals at Gambard in Montreal. Picked up a 39mm Explorer 1 there for 20% off in Dec.
Halifax AD willing to deal as well. I may be in the market for a Sub C in the near future, so keep me posted. Regards Doug
