I love the smell of jet fuel and the exhaust of certain diesel engines . . . All since I was a kid. Weird.

I only smelled the jet fuel when we drove past JFK airport when I was a kid, I guess it was the association with seeing planes that made me like the smell. When I was a small kid, I actually used to stand behind those old fashioned (early-mid 60's) buses in NYC because I liked the exhaust smell. Guess that was a little dangerous.

You gotta be kidding
I love the smell of real Patchouli from C.O. bigelow. The cheap knock off imitation crap is a little offputing, but the real stuff is a "panty dropper" with the ladies. Ya can't over do it, but if done right.......they love it. Just sayin.

x2 We're about the same age...I remember when the Madonna Like a Prayer album came out and the sleeve was impregnated with that crap...all the madonna fans at school when to the nearest occult/wicca goth shops and bought a load of it before dousing their madonna denim jackets in it....bleurghhhh!

Best smells: 1) New car smell (most cars) 2) Ferrari, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Aston Martin, leather smell. Mmmmmm! 3) Jet fuel smell, preferably a G-5 4) Pipe smoke 5) New Rolex box smell. 6) Secretary's perfume, not sure what it is but it smells fantastic on her. I usually hate perfume. Drives me wild! Gotta be careful. 7) Cut grass. 8) BBQ being smoked. That's it I guess. |
