Correct Bracelet for a 1977 Oysterdate
Hi all,
About 10 years ago I bought a rather nice 1977 6694 Oysterdate with original black face and gold hands (photos to follow later!!). Unfortunately it came with a leather strap which I never really liked so ended up not wearing the watch as often as it deserved. Recently I bought a 1971 Q4 folded link 7835 bracelet with 257 end pieces off eBay at a really good price and although the bracelet looks great, the end pieces seem to be just a bit loose and 'rattly'!! Does anyone happen to know what the correct oyster bracelet and end pieces would be a good match for a 1977 Oysterdate or have I already got the right ones? Many thanks. |

257 endlinks were designed for 34mm Perpetual model cases. 357 endlinks would be the proper ones to fit your watch with that bracelet. But the period correct bracelet would be a 78350.
