Suggestions? Anyone?

Good day guys! My birthday is approaching and Im thinking to get myself a rolex as a birthday gift. So my questions are as below and hopefully you guys are willing to answer :)1) what are the best model suit for a 24 years old men? Im a civil engineer and often based on a construction site.2) is datejust 2 with fluted 18k wg bezel suit me (blue dial with Roman markers or rhodium dial with Arabic numerals)?3) my wrist size is 6.75" and do you think 40mm watch looks ok on it?Any comments or helps are highly appreciated. Do include some photos if u have some ;)

Thanks,

Han

Gold may be too flashy on a construction site. I think a sub is the way to go. A genuine tool watch for sure

Hi Han,

What I can deeply recommend is a Rolex Submariner. (just any type!)
It's a very stylish watch but not to undue to wear on certain occasions.
But because I don't know your budget this may just be foolish talk.
I've got this one myself (as a birthday present the 114060) and I'm still happy with it.
Only a very few people do mention the Rolex mark, which is very positive, because of my work.
And I have a very small wrist, but a 40mm is a size that fit's everyone.

Hopefully this was helpful for you

Joran

You have a very similar wrist size as myself... and with the nature of your work, I would recommend a Explorer II 216570

1. Almost fully brushed face will leave scratches looking sexy
2. New 3187 movement with Paraflex shock absorber to take out accidentally knocks against railing and all... and should be well suited to those tools at site
3. 100m WR is more than enough for showering down yourself after a long day
4. It's uber comfortable and accurate!
5. The steel bezel takes knocks better

good luck in your hunt!

For your wrist size and age I think the sub or gmt iic would be best.
