Everyday is a Nissan Pathfinder; but the weekend special is one of these two (the one on the right as you look at the picture):

My GTR is a blast too I think the AWD and Launch control makes it crazy. Once you start modding it then it really opens up. I have done, cold air intakes, catless down pipes, catless mid pipe, HKS exhaust, ETS intercooler with Got Boost piping, tial blow off valves, 1100 injectors, Ecutek tune on E85.

Took the car to a half mile air strip event got it to around 165mph and with proper sticky tires and a good launch should do 10.5 in the quarter.

Cars are a blast just wish I had more $$$ to buy more of them and mod more haha

I seriously can't imagine that mind blowing speed.

I drove the Z06 just in case, and after about 5 minutes I knew it was too much for me. Or rather, overkill I suppose. Not saying it wasn't awesome. It WAS awesome. But my ass was all over the road.

I imagine as I get comfortable with the Z51, I might want more someday. But for now, it's more than enough power and acceleration. Sub 4 seconds of the Z51, was in days past not even something I thought I'd ever be a part of.

Makes me feel like I was driving through water in my recently flipped 5.0. And I loved the power and feel of that too.

I love the look of your GTR, and I've been a huge fan of all models since they came out. The newest version is stunning.

Do you worry about your warranty with all the mods?

Yea "Power and Speed" are things you will get more use to and not so scared. But when I first drove my car stock when buying I was scared as well and thought man this thing can kill me (still can) but you get use to the feeling and respect it.

In regards to voiding warranty, yea I mean it would void warranty for sure but you can find Mod Friendly Dealerships that will over look it and that seems to help quite a bit. I had mine in for a torn axle boot and they said nothing and warrantied it.

My car is maxed out on the stock turbos and engine anything north or 650 WTQ will bend the rods so if I want to go any further in the power mods I will have to upgrade the turbos and build the motor and trans which would be around $25K lol but for $25K I would easily be over 1000 wheel horse power now that would be insane haha.

Love the new vettes though since they came out loved the way they look and all the sharp lines.

^^^

Just for the hell of it, I looked up modding options.

I find it extremely unlikely I'll ever do it. It's not my style based on past experiences.

But interesting to know that I can go to any number of companies and add pretty significant HP, keep my warranty (I think) go to a brand name, and pay relatively minimal money.

I'm a pretty chill guy tho, and I don't think I'll ever need it. Still interesting to see so many options.

just about the right car for the crowded London streets. Flappy paddles, and a real scream.

Can't do a motorcycle. I fear a helmet would just mess up my hair.

Rolex1974 has the right idea lol

Weekend fun, just like Murph145, a 997tt alpha9, external wastegates/methanol injection and all the toys. This thing is a rocket.

The DD, its a 55 though, kinda like a platinum dial and bezel on an SS

I like your style.

I drive a Jeep as a daily too. Going to try and get pics of the two together this weekend.

Beautiful car, I would love to see under the hood, if you have pics. I've always been a fan of the Skyline.

Since it's changed a few times over the years.. i thought i'd post up a few over the 9 years or so that I've owned it. been an interesting journey.

apologies to anyone not interested

I bought the from Japan car pretty much stock, bar some tein springs, exhaust and pod filters and for a long time it stayed just as stock with some but recieved the odd poke here and there to get it up to "stage 1", made about 420ish on the dyno in 2009 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_o2AVktUth8.

... and at the least the Vredstein Wintrac tryes survived being "vmax-ed"

then as i tweaked this and that.. it started becoming more and more of a "project car".

Some photos I took back 2011, i'd been busy polishing as you can tell

and added a drag wing, so i could do a better 0-1200m run at the airport

yes i like polishing

2012 I removed the drag wing, and went back to the stock N1 aero after the car needed a bit of facial reconstruction following a disagreement with a kerb. (nothing serious, but i used as an excuse to tidy up the car)

2014 it underwent a bit of an overhaul since i'd hit a 100k, and wanted to futureproof the engine with a refresh.... (the engine was running fine, but better safe than sorry)

Lots of porting, balancing and old school tuning (and a "few" parts), the end result a car built for response not numbers, with a "less is more" theory behind the tune (but its guesstimated to be around 550-560bhp now on N1 Turbos)

and... Ready just in time for 2015 Silverstone Classic
and the GT-R's 25th anniversary "parade lap" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pru7p9EOr8E
(bit dirty under the hood for me, but I hadn't spent the time to clean it up after getting the car back)

Would I do it again, maybe

sadly although it used to be an all weather monster,

it's now relegated to the sunny days (if that) since I have a Supercharged RRS i can treat like dirt, and is a little more refined to sit in.
