Red Submariner 1680 Identification

I’m looking to learn more on this piece red submariner which came up on a Facebook group. It was supposedly found by the family of the original owner.

Rode hard, put up wet and looks amazing to me. I'm not an expert, but the watch looks honest.

I like it. It won't take much to bring it back to life - starting with a good cleaning once that crystal is replaced.

Can you get a better quality photo that allows you to zoom in on the dial more? Preferably one that doesn't have the hour hand obscuring the dial text? If you're interested in determining the marque this will help significantly.

Check the link from Dan S...very good resource.
