Morning Light

Took those three about 10 minutes ago, 7:30 AM Central Time.

I wish I could have done a better job at capturing the rays of light making their way through the clouds...

And a last one, that I underexposed on purpose to accentuate the rays of light. (1/2000 sec, F8)

Too bad I had the macro lens on...
I went inside to switch lenses and get a circular polarizer and the light was GONE by the time I walked back out. Less than five minutes.
Oh well. I got to pack and rush to the airport. Maybe next time.

Great pics as always, Chip!! You certainly have a way with the camera. Does it talk to you like your watches do?

Great pics Chip. I've always been a fan of the way the sky can produce different colors and light paterns
