Breitling A14360 Chrono-matic Certifie Chronometre
I got this three-register/date/automatic from the secondary market and I love the watch. It's very accurate, HOWEVER it is a b*tch to start. What I mean is that the crown does not seem to wind the watch or add tension to the spring in any way. To get it going, I have to gently agitate the auto-rotor for about 3-4 minutes to get some kind of tension on the main, then it runs great for as long as I care to wear it. Please, do NOT tell me to get an auto-winder, I sold mine, that is NOT happening. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this trait with this particular model. I am loathe to take it for service because it keeps such excellent time, has only this one "quirk".
