Patek 5164 Aquanaut on Leather

Hello,

Ended up putting the 5164 Aquanaut on a 21mm strap I had. It's not made to fit the factory deployment but already working on that and have two custom straps ordered to get the look with the factory deployment.

Until then enjoy the pic, you don't seem many with leather. I really like it as it shows off a lot more of the great shape of the case!

i think it doesn t look nice , a plain looking leather looks to me very cheapo - sorry -, I d try a nice glossy or semi matt croc with the PP deployant. It s an expensive high end watch deserves exclusive material.

Love the watch and the idea of trying it on leather however it just doesn't do it for me personally. I agree with Passionata to maybe try a more glossy one and see how that works.

It isn’t the glossiness (or lack thereof) of the strap which is the problem – it’s the fact it doesn’t fill the gap between the lugs and case.
Get a proper fully fitting one, glossy or otherwise, and it’ll look the part.

I think it looks nice. It would be cool to see a company like Everest make a strap with the curved ends to be a little more "factory" or complete.
