Your right Steve, everything factory, dial was even mentioned on the paperwork...
There was a story to how I lost her to a builder, building an extension on the house in back in 2008/2009...

I was looking through one of my photo bucket albums and found the pic...

Reminicing......

Stuart, I'm still kicking myself for letting that one get away.

Here's a trip down memory lane for you.

You are right. To be exact, the first watch states "The Airforce" with the emblam of Saudi Arabia above it. The second and the third state "The Saudi Armed Forces" with the emblam of Saudi Armed Forces above it.

These are lovely watches. Enjoy in good health.

Hi guys,
I'm looking to buy a 1979 model (Rolex Oyster Perpetual 18k WG/SS Ref. 16014) for my wife (36mm). It looks great on her wrist but i was wondering if this model is water resistent at all? Is it ok for casual swimming?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thx.

Wow Lexi66! Those DJ are stunning indeed! You have a particular fine "gusto" for this type of dial, which I find so handsome!
Never found one myself, but always keep an eye to get one for my own collection.
Congrats on these so beautiful pieces, and thanks for sharing!!
Cordial regards, Abel.
