I think its a beautiful watch. So beautiful that i gave it s chsnce 4 times, yes 4.
But just disnt sing. Pcl, blue, black, big numbers on bezel . All that was just too too much
Luckily i made money on flips as i got them at 15% off each

Sweet photos. It's a beauty. I am buying one this week. I am an airline pilot and plan to keep home base time on the hour hand and GMT on the 24 hour hand as we get lots of info on airports and weather given in GMT and that will be handy for me on a daily basis. I may try the bezel to keep track of local time where I am that day.

Great review, between the two, I finally decided to buy a 116610LN SubC date, only because it's my first Rolex and it has more sustain & scratchproof... But for sure I will own this BLNR in the future! Love those splashing color mix...

Excellent review. Like you, I own several non-Rolex watches and my BLNR fills the gap for sporty. I am traveling with it this weekend for the first time to a new timezone and looking forward to seeing how well I like it in that circumstance.

Excellent review! You're photos and write-up make me think that another visit to my AD is in order to re-evaluate the PCLs. Love the BLNR bezel and dial. Love that BLRO also, but that might take a while to achieve.

BLNR is scarce as hens teeth from Rolex boutiques and agents here in Europe. On a trip I found the last available new GMT in Berlin ( an LN) but couldn't pass up on the one and only new BLNR in Rome and grabbed it, too. Getting VAT reclaim lessens the sting.

I have a Pepsi and will shop next for a clean Coke. Then I shall stop on the GMT's. They are all just so pretty. As a practical matter, the LN blends in seamlessly as a daily driver in a suit and I have seen identical pieces in the wild on weekly international travel.

The GMT is the only modern tool watch that you can and should use daily for what it was intended. Unless you actually go caving with Explorer, dive deep with Submariner/ Sea Dweller or work on a particle accelerator with Milgauss, the GMT checks the utility and desirability boxes. The rabid collectability and resale don't hurt either.

"scarce as hens teeth" is about right... I was told by my AD here in Melbourne that I'd have a four month wait, and then I was on holiday in Hawaii and just stumbled onto one sitting in the AD at the "Shops of Wailea" so I grabbed it straight away, they said they had only got it the day before, I checked the AD's back in Honolulu and they didn't have any in stock, so it was "meant to be" so I'm happy.
