New Poll: 5990 vs 5980

Although I did not start the earlier thread--- There were a lot of requests for a new poll... which one do you prefer--- 5980 vs 5990? If you already own or are currently considering.. or if you had to pick which one? Has your mind changed over time?

5990 on the left and 5980 on the right
Me: Like both but own and still would select the 5990.

Another poll, same answer, 5990 for me.

However in this case it's a no lose situation.

5990 blue in 2017 would be a reason I'd buy it back.

5980 in RG with RG band. Otherwise, I kind of like the 5990.

I have tried on both and the 5990 is to thick and messy dial...

Really hard choice. Probably go with the 90 though.

Not really a fan of either, but between the two I'd choose the 5990 for the dual time complication.

either one would be great, but i don't think you can get 5980 from the dealers anymore as new one.

I chose the 5990 and think its possibly the most epic sports watch in production price/value not in question. However, I tried on a friends 5980R and I'm afraid Im going to need something like that as well...this is an issue.

5990 for me for the dual time zone, more presence and symmetry of the dial.

I'd be happy to have either. For me, the blue dial 5980 edges out the 5990

Neither, instead I would recommend the 5980R (leather strap)

I picked 5980.

5976 If it gets made in steel.

Actually would really prefer if the chrono watches didn't have a date complication.

I think I would pick the 5990 if it had a beautiful blue dial over all of them.
