5146/1g-001 need help
Would really like your thoughts on this watch. It's the one with the white gold bracelet. Trying to figure out if it a grail watch for me. It's 58k new. Seemed to be very hard to find. Need to decide now. Have a 5711. Would really like your thoughts on this watch...the good the bad...
Thanks, George |

I can't think of one Patek dress watch on a bracelet that I like.....and if I am the majority probably why it's hard to find....it didn't sell!! I can include 5960, 5130 into the equation as well

I love the 5146 reference but on a leather strap. If you want a gold bracelet get a Sport watch (Nautilus or APRO) or the king of gold bracelets "Rolex".
But if I can't make you change your mind and you want a Patek dress watch on a gold bracelet , then in any case I would go for that beautiful blue dial 5396/1g-001. Have you considered platinum? I have 5146P and I love it. Good luck on your hunting bro J Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've got a gold Patek with a leather band. Interested in the bracelet look. I like the 5711...and feel the 5146 with bracelet may be a nice piece in between those two. Other thoughts/options...tks

My AD has one - and I'm also intrigued by this watch. Would somebody know forums or threads with lots of pictures with 5146/1G? Couldn't find a good thread on TRF and I understand Patek enthusiasts generally don't like gold bracelets.

Excellent pic Jorge Far nicer than what I saw in AD showroom. Must be their harsh lighting

Congrats on your beautiful acquisition, enjoy it in the best of health Quote:
Let alone the beautiful clean dial , the weight and feel of the watch is a joy. This exactly what Thomas did with his 5070 , he enjoyed the Gold version first and once you know the reference to the core you go to P. Smart move , I totally get it. Of Course you can do this just with some Patek classic/staple references, because not all have gold and P versions available. In any case, thanks brah Cheers and a happy new year !
