Icon13 Least Favorite Rolex Model???

Every Rolex model is beautiful in its own way, but with that said, what is your least favorite model?

Said another way: What is the model that only Mother Rolex could love?

Curious to see if there is some sort common wisdom to one that just doesn't appeal to the masses?

Question is meant to be thought provoking, not negative. Personally, I love to know what to stay away from as it pertain to secondary market demand.

Very unpopular: all-gold DJ. Not because it is bad or ugly, no, but simply because of the DD.

Not a fan of YG. Prefer SS or WG.

Men's models other than the DD/DJ. Don't get why women even want to wear the men's models.

Other than those 2 I cant think of anything. Everything I like. I mean every other Rolex may have something small Im not a big fan of but the whole Yachtmaster line up is hideous IMHO. Sorry to those who have them. You may think something I have/like is hideous and thats fine by me. This thread is only about our opinions right?

Any men's Rolex with diamonds in it. Just too flashy and even ugly IMO. Doesn't matter what model.

Leopard Daytona looks nothing more than a cobbled together piece of junk designed by a ten year old with a pack of crayons, it makes me want to vomit. (IMHO obviously!)

I have favorites and non-favorites but I would probably wear any Rolex as they all appeal to me in different ways.

DSSD. I just don't get that watch.

I think a sub just makes much more sense.

Agreed - that and the Leopard Daytona, and the non-green Milgauss.

There are a lot of others that don't float my boat, but these are the only three I'd sell (quietly) if given as a gift.

Any man's watch with diamonds on something besides the dial. Even the diamond dials are a bridge too far for me, but I can still sort of understand the appeal.

Yachtmaster 1 and 2. If the 2 came in Rose gold I might be more interested. The 1 lacks contrast and the platinum makes little sense to me.

Daytona is too small. Rose gold daytona ceramic, I really don't like.

Milgauss. The lightening second hand makes it look like a toy watch to me.

Leopard Daytona/Rainbow Daytona goes without saying.

The Skydweller really annoyed me. I thought the concept was brilliant but not a fan of the execution.

This always tends to be a bad idea for a thread.

The reason it's not such a good idea, is because we're talking about our least favorite when others of our group might actually happen to own these versions.

Anything with too much gold; looks too flashy and commonly mistaken for a fake.

IMO the whole range of Milgauss watches are decently designed, if uninspired watches... with a horrible second hand. That thing looks to have been designed by a prepubescent boy: "you know what would be cool?! a lightning bolt for a hand!!!" The only watch I can think of that rivals the Milgauss is gimmicky second handedness would be the equally terrible IWC Double Chronograph (with the red airplane hand). This is a bit harsh, but you might as well strap a plastic toy to your wrist!
