Early Constellation

I have been looking at an early Constellation on ebay, it looks nice but I was wondering about the movement.

ebay # 172387448940

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-1952...QAAOSwn7JYCWsG

When did they start marking the movements with "Adjusted 5 pos.........." with chronometers.

Thanks in advance.

How did you get a pic of my dog for your avatar? Here she is guarding my granddaughter. And she takes it seriously!

Ha ha. Cute pair there. My Billie is one of a kind, I have to be careful where I take her as a lot of people have asked me to leave because of her.

They always want me to go alone and assure me that she will be well taken care of.

I have decided that the watch in question is just another one of those put together fakes, I looked closely and even the engraving that is on it looks fake, the missing engraving makes no difference.

You ever have a DNA test done on Billie? I would bet, unless you know the parents, that you have an educated guess as to her contributing breeds. I did too about my Sadie. Turns out everyone, myself and ALL of the experts, were waaaaay wrong. I used the "Wisdom Panel" test recommended by my vet. It was an eye opener and can tell you about her ancestors' pairings going back 6 generations.

BTW, you may think you have the best dog in the world, but you don't.

I do. lol
