New Daytona landed, quick and dirty pics....

You have all seen this dial before, nothing new with a white dialed SS Daytona....

But this caseback is something that makes this one pretty special. The name of my 5 year old and one day it will go to him.

Thanks for looking guys, appreciate all the kind words on the other thread.

BIG congrats Daren!!!

Wonderful thing you have done for your son.

I can see it being a high school or college graduation gift ..... or even a wedding gift!

I like the sounds of wedding, and now I just hope he gets married at about 40.

Looks great! Congratulations.

You don't want him to grow up too fast, but I bet you can't wait for the day you give it to him!

I actually have another watch with my own name on it. That was a gift from my old Head Pro when I got my own course. That one will go to him as well.

So, eventually he will have some nice staples in a collection.

Thanks bro, was never a fan till recently. I have actually turned down about 3 or 4 of these in the past. I just didn't want to buy to flip since it was from a close friend and AD. But last year I had a wild idea to buy one that I could love for a long time and then give to Lil D. So, I told my AD I wanted the next white dial one and less than a month later, she is on the wrist.

Very nice! Love the dial and bezel on that DJ. Two classic pieces, I am sure he will cherish those immensely.

Sounds familiar Daren. I was on the fence for a long time.
I kept asking about them, but never really looked at one seriously.
Then , one time at the AD, asked if they had one, and they did. M & D were with me & they really liked it too, so it came home with me.
I think mine will be a keeper too.
Probably go to M one day too.

Do you think this thread can be retrieved when the time comes you give your watch to your son? Well if it does... maybe he will be the last poster on this thread..Congratulations to you Daren..and to you Dylan...

What's really wild to think about is your son likely wearing that same watch 70yrs from now after we're all (or at least most of us) long gone. Very cool man.

LOL, I actually had a Panerai friend email me from the pics I posted on FaceBook and told me I should have waited till I took some decent pics, LOL! Thanks for the kind words. I will take some "proper" pics with the set up and other camera this weekend and post up.

Cheers,

D
