Unbelievable Yankee 5-3 win over Red Sox

Wow, a grand slam for Mark Teixeira in the bottom of the 9th makes it a final of 5-3. Crazy game...

I'm just so glad that the Red Sox don't get to celebrate on our field.

For today anyways...hopefully, we do it again tomorrow, and send them packing.

Pretty neat ending to the game...walk off grand slam.
Teixeira said during the post game interview that he hoped it was his final homer.
Nice way to retire.

Can't really ask for a better ending as a Yankee to hit a walk off grand slam against the Red Sox.

I live in Baltimore, but I am a die-hard Red Sox fan (and was a longtime Nats season-ticket holder)!

I am glad the Jays lost and the East is clinched...but I would have enjoyed it a lot more with a W in New York tonight, obviously. Congrats though, that was a helluva finish to the game.

Correct me if I am wrong, but there was a huge celebration on Yankee grounds last night, Champagne and all!

- Sox (AL East Champion) season ticket holder.

Well it could have been in the ALCS but, uhh, nevermind.

The Sox don't have near as many WS wins, nor do they have anywhere near Yankee level of PED usage.

Lol, I was waiting for that. How are you so sure? Don't be like that, it's nice they won AL East by default, but that's as far as they're going to go.

In any case, the Yankees did it again tonight...:)
