Hard to deny true love. Beautiful watch.

At worst, your watch will always love you back!

CONGRATULATIONS! The 5146 was my first Patek and 2 years on I can say hand-on-heart that the beauty of that slate grey dial still stuns me to this day. I've never bought anything else in life that still excites me so long after purchase. The 5167 was my second and is a real beauty too, but admittedly less so. Enjoy it and wear it in good health

Congrats on a great piece, about the "was it a good decision?" don't really know, if your wife is a bodybuilder or does martial arts and is strong tempered yep that was a very bad decision

I tried one on in Zurich this weekend with no expectations and fell in love. The watch looks amazing on the wrist. It's my next purchase.

Huge Congrats!

If the OP doesn't post again we all know what happened

Congrats though. I've been eyeing the 5146 for a while now and hope to add it soon as my first PP. I'm a minority though in that I prefer the cream dial over the slate.

Great choice. Just bought a Nautilus and happened to try on a 5146 a few days ago. Amazing watch. The size and feel were great. Seriously considering one now. Congrats!
