Thank you, Kaya aka Keschete

For sending me a copy of issue #6 and providing this photo op. Since falling out of favor with my AD due to the "Platona incident", I no longer receive these types of goodies. Kaya graciously got an extra copy from her AD and mailed it to me. Thank you!!!!

And Yes, I do like subs. Why do you ask?

There isn't a thread because there is no need to whine and cry about it. I always give the local AD first shot at any watch. When it came time to buy a Platona, they were over $5k higher for a NIB, completely stickered, full set. I am always willing to pay a little more to keep my money local, but not that much more so I bought somewhere else. After they found out, I've received nothing but a cold shoulder. After buying four Rolexes, a non Rolex watch, and multiple custom made pieces of jewelry, this is what I get. Plus, I expressed much interest in the DaytonaC and visited often checking to see if they had arrived. I found out a few weeks ago that they had received and sold them. I didn't even receive a call saying, "Hey, the new watches are in. We know you really wanted to see them in person." I got nothing. So now, I'll speak with my wallet. There are plenty of other Jewelers and watch dealers who would love to take my money.

yeah. bad business. I will never understand that mentality.

My AD knows that I sometimes buy elsewhere, and is excessively cool about it. And that motivates me to give him more business.

Amen. But I buy second hand watches from TRF vendors. The new stuff I buy from the AD.
