Most accurate mechanical watch?
What's the most accurate movement/watch you came across through your years of experience in collecting/enthusiasm ?
For me I'd have to give that to the RM35-01. Unbelievably accurate! |

RM011 without question most accurate I've owned.
I mean spot on...other brands have been pretty good (AP was a little hit miss for a few years), but nothing like RM. |

My IWC 3756 GST may be my most accurate mechanical watch. It never loses a second.

I haven't really owned any super accurate mechanical watches, I generally don't keep my watches on winders and I rotate them around pretty often, anecdotally I would say my FP Journe Chronometre Sluverain was my most accurate, followed close behind by my Patek 5146 Annual Callendar.

My Grand Seiko GMT is amazingly accurate. I am also very impressed with my Patek Philippe watches as well.

My FP Journe Octa RDM is extremely accurate, even when I leave it sitting in the watch box for days.

My Lange Time Zone is crazy accurate keeps perfect time. I have had good luck with most of my watches but this one is even better than any Rolex I have ever owned.

I am pleased to say that both my Pateks are accurate enough for me.
In fact it has been a long time since I have purposely tested them for their accuracy. As long as it does not loose more than 30 seconds per day, I am happy :)

My Marathon GSAR with the ETA 2824-2 is crazy. It gains a few seconds a week. My rolex 6298 loses about 2-3 seconds a day and my omega speedy pro gains about 6 seconds a day.

My 15400 has been very accurate, but I think the most accurate was probably my Reverso TT 1931.

It's usually the one that was last serviced by my preferred watchmaker. One of the Daytonas is sometimes on the winder for a coupe of weeks between rotation to my wrist. It comes out at about half a minute fast.

My Jaeger tourbillon. Their tourbillons regularly win the chronometer accuracy awards each year.

The last Sub C I had was dead nuts on. It didn't deviate at all in the year and a half I owned it.

Mine are so hit or mess, I mean everything is well within COSC but my two best:
My LV sub is dead on over a 4 week period. My new VC overseas ran 9 seconds fast the first day after I received it then 3 seconds fast the second and it's been dead on daily for the last 3 days. I'm hoping it turns out extremely accurate because it's always a nice surprise. Not surprised on the first two days as I had to wind it and then give it a bit of a shake to get it moving the first time. |

My most recent Daytona was almost spot on... My current AP is only 2 secs off/day, no complaints on it.

Well I wouldn't be happy at 29 sec/day but I usually have watches that in 7-10 days loose/gain around 20-30 sec, so basically around 2-4 sec a day which I find ok, my most accurate if I remember correctly was my BLNR, everytime I checked it seemed to be off by 2-4 sec after 7-10 days so for me that is incredibly accurate and as far as I know never had better, my Patek is not bad also, my AP is not super, when I put it on time and check 5-7 days later like I just did it's always around 20 seconds off, sometimes 40, but I wear my watches 24/7 so sleep with them, I often read that you need to leave them crown up or down at night and I don't do that, maybe the accuracy would be better, but as far as I'm not more than 30sec off I don't care a lot, I check from time to time and put them back on the exact time but I'm not akin a fixation about it...

Arnauld what I was trying to say is that accuracy is not a huge issue for me. But you are right. The accuracy should fall within COSC standards👍🏻

My Omega, when worn everyday, is almost spot on at +.5 secs a day. However, the longest I have worn the watch in succession is 4 days. My job will not let me wear it everyday.
