Help in London
Hello,
Which is the best place in central London (i'm from abriad, and i will be in London for an afternoon, around Oxford Street) to buy preferably a Date (115200) or Datejust steel, Oyster Bracelet, Roman numbers)? How much should i expect to pay for it (good/very good condition)? What is the price for a new one? Thank you very much for all the help. |

Go to Old/New Bond St, you have 3 Watches of Switzerland there inc 1 that is purely Rolex. Alternatively go to Knightsbridge and visit Harrods where they have a half decent range of Rolex. Another option is Serlfridges on Oxford St. All should have the watch you're after at MSRP though! You could haggle at Selfridges or possibly Harrods not WOS.
115200 = £3030 116200 =£3140 Good luck

If you want to check out the grey dealers/pre=owned go to Bond Street/ Old Bond street - David Duggan and SecondTimeRound.

What date are you coming to London? You could meet some one up form the forum in London that afternoon save 10% and claim the vat back also. Get the watch you want and be happy and merry. Winner.

David Duggan (Burlington Arcade) is closed till 5th Jan. Second time round wont have new unfortunately. Althought they are discounting like crazy on vintage.

How much should i expect to pay for a pre-owned (good/very good condition) 115200/116200? Sorry for the insistence, but my 115200 (bought in 1996) was stolen together with an iwc...
