Less dominant hand is the left, so left for me.

All right, all you skillful jugglers who wear the watch on your dominant arm... How did you learn to wear a watch? The clasp of a Rolex is one thing, but doing up the standard leather strap micro buckle with my left hand leaves me feeling like an infant trying to feed itself; the apparatus is likely to find itself on the floor. Perhaps that is just lack of muscle memory; I can do it but I've got to talk myself through it every step of the way.

It's weird...My mother explained to me that my left hand was dominant as a very young child, but my father was right handed and scolded me for using my left hand...so I was forced to use my right...I now draw/tattoo with my right hand; however I play ice hockey, and I always play left handed...i also bat left handed, and shoot left handed....weird.

I am right handed and wore my watch on my right as a kid...........still don't know why unless it was my dad's influence. If it was I don't remember that. Now only on the left will I wear it, but right handed dad still goes with the right wrist.

The safest place for your watch is on your wrist.

Right handed and wear it on my right. The big crown digs into the back of my hand if I wear it on my left wrist.

Right handed and almost always wear on left wrist. Occasionally I would switch for a little while if wrist was hot/sweaty. This past week I had to switch to the right wrist due to a cut on left wrist. Incredibly awkward. While using mouse, kept banging bottom of watch on desk. Felt like any minute I was going to bang it into something. How do righties function in a computer world with the watch on that wrist?

I am left handed and wear my watch on my right hand. For the longest time I wore my watches on my left (dominant hand) until I noticed the amount of scratches and wear and tear on the leading edge of my watches. This has not been an issue since I began wearing my watches on my non-dominant hand.

Right handed, left wrist for me. Honestly, the only thing that drives me nuts are people that somehow think that wearing a watch upside down with the bracelet facing up is more ergonomically pleasing or something ridiculous. Madness.

I would guess that the higher number of subs one seen on the right hand has something to do with the crown digging into the back of the hand

I agree 100% with your assessment. Watches are meant for the left hand (even if you're left handed). The crown is supposed to be pointed towards your fingers.

Of course this is a matter of "proper style" and therefore open to debate. Some people will also argue that you can wear a plaid shirt and striped pants too. In summary, I feel it's "proper style" to always wear the watch on the left hand regardless of your dominant hand.

I'm a leftie so my watch is worn on my right hand. And no, it's not the same as a wedding ring, there is no designated hand to wear it on.

And you know what, those of us who wear it on the right never have to worry about the crown being uncomfortable.

If you right handers knew what kind of abuse wearing a watch on your dominant hand causes, you really wouldn't say this stuff.

Left arm right handed.
Wife is a lefty, so she wears hers on the right arm. I very good reason for me to have bought her very own PAM219 ( Destro, so the crown is on the correct side)
