Rolex service problem! Help!

Heya guys.

I have ss sub rolex with plexiglass. When I bought it. I was told that the dial was replaced by rolex. Because thats what they used to do. I bought this watch a few years ago.

This week. I took the watch into rolex to get serviced. I was told that the although the watch has all genuine parts. The dial is not the original dial and with no service papers.... they cannot determine that the watch is an original and not made up of parts from different watches.

I went to the original sellers and told them my situation. The owner told me that rolex used to sell spare parts and they sold them the parts. (Is this true?) The watch is genuine and if I have a problem I should take him to court and get my money back. (I think he was a lil flustered because he thinks I'm calling him a liar) I should also note that on the receipt he wrote that he guarantees that the watch is 100% rolex.

Now I love this watch.. But I really have two concerns.. Is my watch made from spare parts? How will I give this to my son one day if they wont be able to service it?

What should I do? Is this just rolex being a pain or have I probably been scammed by the seller?

The seller has been around for years and specialises in selling rolexes.
