The amazing 382/Bronzo

OK, after all this bitc-ing and moaning - especially by me - about the 318 circus I thought I'd share a few most excellent and inspiring photos I found at p.com from the P-Day event taking place right now.

There are not that many watches out there (regardless of brand, including Rolex) that I would spend my hard-earned money on, but I think that this Panerai, along with the 372 and perhaps the 390, would be something that I would enjoy owning and wearing.

Enjoy!

Old? Maybe old looking. It isn't yet available in most stores.

Damn, that is a sweet watch. Adding that one to the "someday" list for sure.

$11,600 MSRP in the US, but quite few have been delivered and the lists are already filled, so good luck getting your hands on one! :-)

It's not for me, I am thinking of blogging about it and just wanted the price for reference...

I really dig the look of it and the pic of 'Eng' with it is really a killer, but I do think the 47mm size is too much, and I should not want to pay a premium either!

Too bad I can't just go visit a store and buy it. Funny how it's hard to spend $11k these days.

Here's the original

Post patina process

Maybe one day I'll have Bronzo, but this will do until then!
