Another vote for Tempoking!!

He sells right here off of this website, PM him if there is a particular model you're looking for, also ponycar350 (Jared Allen) from NJ, he sells from the "For Sale" forum on this board as well. Gave me a great deal on my 16613

I never did ask Jared if his name refers to a Mustang GT350? I assume it does...

I've purchased from Bernard, SwissLuxury, and DeMesy. Very satisfied with all three!

Agree with above.

I have bought from 1/2 of them.

No one mentioned Jomashop.com. I have had 3 good experiences with them. The are located in NYC so I get hit with tax.

I would not buy again from buckjo, I purchased a BNIB 18K Yachtmaster from Gary, when I received it I just didn't like it, I had it, trying to make up my mind, and called Gary about trading it for a 18K GMT II. He said I had it over the return time limit ,(one Day over) and he would take it back but I would loose $3000.00 !! As far as I'm concerned He did not treat me right,I then found a Grey Dealer in South Florida who made the trade. I still lost over $1000.00. Bill

I like the look and feel of their website, seem to be rather reputable. However their Merchant Reviews are all over the map.

I have never delt with them so I can't comment on them other then what I read.

I can verify that after several transactions, Jomashop was reputable and no-hassle when it comes to lower end watches. Haven't purchased Rolex from them.

Alan Furman is top-notch, and they have the best warranty.

I did have an issue with DeMessey, however. He has a hefty restocking fee for returns. He charged me a huge restocking fee just for cancelling an order the day after I made it, even though he hadn't shipped the watch yet! I don't think that's the way to conduct a business.

One reason for some of the bad reviews is on their website it may show a watch being in stock when they really don't have it. Then you get an email canceling your order and a $10 off coupon. That really sucks and feels impersonal. Happened to me once.

In the past I have ordered two ladies Rolex watches and one Tag. Also, like many grey dealers they don't want to give out factory warranty card but I specifically ask for it and they give it to me.

I have not purchased from TempoKing; however, based on wit, sagacity, humor, and a fine selection of watches - that'd be where I go!

Gray Dealer Recommendation

I just received my new Z S/N DateJust from Gary. It's beautiful and a terrific deal. Try him out and you won't be disappointed.

here in the forum u can get good deals from anastacio tempo king.thats what i've read. for online sellers allan furman or swiss luxury. bernard watches ok too. But stay away from swisswrist.com. never buy from them.Their watches are defective and not mint. my 2 cousins had a very bad experience with them. that's why their prices are low coz theyr watches are refurbished.its genuine but not 100%. my other cousin bought a sub blue tt unused. the bezel was a fake one. my other cousin bought an unused datejust and when we had it expected with the dealer they found out that the crystal sapphire was a replacement, not rolex original. their watches are just 80%genuine and are refurbished thats why they are lower...

Wait? I could have sworn I've heard these stories before about the swisswrist problems. In fact these exact same issues were brought up in the swisswrist thread, weren't they? Hmmm....

I have to throw support to Nigel at http://www.highlinetime.comas my experience with them was PERFECT! My GMTIIC in YG/SS was purchased NEW from them and arrived as described. The emails assuring me and giving updates with tracking and so forth were just great. An A+++ experience with them.

NYS Sales Tax is a big bite. Do they charge tax if it's shipped to NJ? I keep an out of state address (nearby) at a UPS Store for shipping w/no tax for in-state purchases. It's about a 30 mile ride to pick it up and the box costs are only a fraction of the tax on a new Sub.

buying new I discovered that I get equally good prices form the guys here on TRF who gives you proper warranty and papers. so why bother with Grey.
Since asking for Greay I also have heard good things abouy buckjoe. I once called him and he said he can even arrange a show of the pieces at a local jeweller

Icon20 Tempo King

Hi

I m going to be a first time buyer of a Rolex. I am in NYC and have been on the internet night and day for a couple of days now. I have chosen the Daytona 11620 white for my first watch. I wanted to buy it from an AD, however reading the posts, it seems buying it from a "gray" dealer doesn't seem to be a bad idea and somehow anastasios keeps coming up in the forum. I tried to look him up online but he is not there.

I would like to know
1. How can i get in touch with TempoKing
2. what is the difference in buying from an AD and Grey dealer (besides the price)
3. Any other info woudl be helpful
